Catch More Fish. Think Green.

Thinking of getting a property valuation, or selling your house? The first and last thing a buyer sees when inspecting your property is your garden. Decisions to buy (or not) have been solely made on whether the first impression was favourable. Maximising the appeal of your property is the easiest way to ensure a quick and easy sale.

Many properties offered for sale today have undergone some recent improvement of the building in order to maximise their potential return.  Unfortunately, often sellers forget that the appearance of a garden, courtyard or balcony can have a dramatic impact on the perception of a prospective buyer and the price they are willing to pay. Many people find it hard to envisage how much more appealing a property will look once overgrown plants are pruned, the paving is clean and even and the garden beds and planters are freshly mulched and contain attractive healthy plants.

A good Landscape Company can help you identify plants that have outlived their role and those that can be moved or pruned to fulfil a new role. They can restore colour and interest to the garden with the use of focal plants, sculpture and hard landscaping features.  They will also look closely at returning vitality to trees, shrubs, beds and lawns by using appropriate fertilizers and mulching techniques.

Look for a landscaper that can provide useful, practical and cost effective advice for preparation of a property sale or rental.    For maximum impact, a little work around the garden can dramatically affect the sale outcome for a seller.

If you still doubt the value of landscaping, walk through your neighborhood.  Look for homes that you think are “really nice” and inevitably they will have gardens and landscaping that has been carefully thought out and lovingly cared for.
